I concur with those that say you have a shot at the top 10. Your EE major (especially at Berkeley) at least gives you an excuse for the subpar GPA. The LSAT will most definitetly get you a second look.
That said, take your work experience (which IS significant despite what you read) and try to craft a unique story from it - something that'll truly set you apart from the rest of the ho-hum applicants. You DO have a leg up on the competition since you are three years out of UG, but only if you can spin it in an interesting way.
My final advice: close your eyes and apply to all of the top 15. Stanford is probably out of reach as is Berkeley (both schools are GPA-heavy). Apply to a few #30-40 just as a safety. I suspect you'd be a candidate for scholarship $$ at Hastings.
