I had similar numbers, slightly higher GPA and 167. I can tell you that I did very well in the admissions process. I think you have a great shot at getting into Columbia. One question though, where did you attend undergrad. 3.5 is solid, but if you went to a state school or a small liberal arts school it MAY be a negative. However your LSAT score is outstanding and it will probably cancel it out. If not Columbia, you will definitely get into at least 3 top 10 schools. Good luck.
By the way I will be attending Northwestern Law in the Fall and I also applied straight out of undergrad. |

I attend a historically black college whose reputation is pretty solid in the grad school forum.
Do you think that the 3.6 is worth waiting for or should I just apply really early and just hope for the best?
