after doing my homework, i have harvard to be the biggest fraud amongsts law school. If u go by the rankings the have:
83rd best faculty
123rd best student to faculty
Lets face the facts, Harvard law is a product of history... it is well known so they get every applicant to apply to there school, which makes them look good on these bogus USNews rankings. Isnt law school about learning, and if they have such a high ratings shouldnt they have a lot better teachers. Seems like a joke to me.
(stats are found on mylawschoolrankings.com which gets their info from princeton review) |

The fact that you trust the Princeton Review over U.S. News is suspect in and of itself. Nevertheless, let me explain the most likely reason for Harvard's low standings according to your questionable source of information.
As far as I can tell, your source is based largely upon student surveys. Being the creme de la creme, Harvard students have very high standards and will complain more than students at lesser schoools. As a result, Harvard weighs in low in student surveys, despite the actual high quality of Harvard's education.
As for your following comment, "Isnt [sic] law school about learning[?]"....
Yes and no. To be honest, I don't believe law school is all about learning, at least not as much as law schools would have you believe. In practice, I use few things that I learned in law school. What I found law school most useful for was prestige. If I may be ultra-cynical, law school often serves as little more than a prerequisite to taking the bar and a means to put a good name on your resume that will get you a job later. With this in mind, Harvard is tops to me.
Flame away. Flame away.
