I am considering applying to law school and would like to evaluate my chances and what area of law would best fit my experiences.
I would like to begin law school in the fall of 2003. I was chemical engineering B.S. in undergrad from NC State. GPA was 3.5. I was on full scholarship with student government experience, community service, and also involved in a leadership fellows program. My target schools are UNC and Wake Forest. I will have two years of full-time manufacturing experience with a large industrial fiber firm. I am actively involved with a political campaign and recommendations would come from a district court judge and two practicing attorneys from the schools that I am applying with.
I would like to focus on business law or be involved with finance. I am also considering a JD/MBA combo. I will take LSAT in October and took GMAT in December of 01 (Got 690). Thanks for any advice!
