Here are my stats:
LSAT: 149 (I was ill)
UGPA: 3.3-3.4 from Top 20 bus program with modest work (1-2 yrs) real work experience/lots extracurricular/recs etc.
I am looking at $100+ in loans when out (Incl undergrad, as my parents can pay for nothing)
I have been accepted at a T3 school with some/slight career potential and I am waitlisted at two (T2) schools. I was hoping to get into a T1, particuarilly Cornell, UCLA or Fordham - I will $$$ to pay off the loans. However, I am extremely interested in a legal career and would not be going soley for the money - there is some intrensic value.
I am low on funding right now. Should I:
(A) Attend the T3 and hope to transfer
(B) Attend the T2, if accepted, and hope to transfer
(C)Wait a year - to get more experience and gain $$ - and attend the T3 or T2 next year and hope to transfer.
(D) Not attend this year and take the LSAT over as I have a valid/doctor excuse and reapply to UCLA etc. (I applied in Oct and and did not know my LSAT yet -although I should have canceled the score I REALLY wanted to go this year)What are my chances if I reapply?
(E) I have a marketable degree: pursue a full time job search , gain experience and try again in a few years. Are your previous LSAT scores removed after a certain amount of time?
Also, will the T3 be offended if I defer and take this October's LSAT ? Is there someway I can take the LSAT after prepping summer and fall, defer on the T2/T3 and apply again to the T1s without this looking bad
Any sugesstions would be helpful as I am freakin out!
