Wait Lists. Why are these schools even handing out wait list letters this year? They all have too many apps: why make us wait? What is the point? to make themselves feel good this year after ten straight years of declining admissions numbers?
Issue #3
What is the point of the essay/application/reccommendations/undergrad school/curriculum etc.? Why don't the schools just have me fax the LSAT and GPA? If I were to talk to a new applicant I would say the balance at schools is 70% LSAT, 30% GPA: You could doodle the rest of the app as it is meaningless. If I were to do it over I would attend little goofy school and get a high GPA, major in baking cake and spend the rest of my time in LSAT prep courses.
