Hmm. If you're on the BUSINESS end of things [like I am], experience is everything. Getting your foot in the door is the hardest part.
As for law... No experience in it [yet], so i can only base my guess on what little I've experienced in the business world.

It's a whole different ballgame. Unless you're a lateral, experience don't mean sh*t. Again, when hiring first-years or summer associates, it's all about grades and prestige of school.
