I am a foreigner considering studying law at McGill University in Montreal, Canada. I currently hold a degree in international commerce. I would be very grateful if someone could help me with the following questions.
1. COURSE:
Having no previous legal studies, what specific law course should/could I take at Mc Gill?
2. REPUTATION:
What is McGill's reputation in the law field? I believe it is one of the best Canadian universities, but I am not sure if this is true or if it applies to its law department.
3. JOB PROSPECTS:
Would my McGill law degree enable me to work as a lawyer in the US, or only in Canada? For personal reasons I am particularly interested in working in NY - would this be an option for me?
Thank you in advance for your answers.
