I want to work in Biglaw in Seattle after I graduate. Would I be better off going to the Tier 4 Seattle U. or the Tier 2 U of Oregon? Do Seattle firms see much of a difference, or does the hometown factor erase the reputation gap? |

Seattle firms routinely recruit & hire from UOregon. They do to from Seattle but UOregon is the superior schools - its highly respected and on par with UDUB. Its almost 1st tier. SU has nice facilities and location but its still only the 4th best school in its region. It would probably take being in the top 10% at SU for biglaw but the top 25% - 50% at UO will get looks.
