I have read over all of the postings and see a wide disparity in the discussions. Most focus on the top schools in the nation. If I qualified for those schools I'd be interesed and would probably advocate their greatness, however this is not the case. My choices are focused on places like Mercer, Stetson, Florida State, LSU, and Florida Coastal. These schools cover the fabled 2nd, 3rd, and 4th tiered schools. I'd like to see discussions concerning these and others in the southeast like Georgia State, Cumberland, Alabama, etc. Surely there are others who are looking at, going to, or knowledgable of these schools. Lets talk about them. |

Over time on the board, I have seen most of the schools on your list (Florida Coastal being an exception) discussed.
Georgia State, for example,
has pretty good regional placement in the Atlanta area, while FSU is less strong than UF, but places reasonably well. LSU is a solid state school, but poses the old civil v. common law choices. Alabama is a very solid state school, and would be a clear choice to me over Cumberland, for example.
Stetson has focused on trial advocacy programs, but still is not seen as being as strong as most other schools in Florida. I think that your point is good insofar as the list you made has a wide range of school choices,
some quite workable, some quite lesser, and it is interesting that the board is so east coast/west coast.
Still, that's the way population centers stack up, so it's not shocking that's how the posts run here.
