you must not have been doing much real PR. I'm in PR and I work with lawyers all the time -- in fact a Yale-schooled attorney, our general counsel, approves our sensitive releases. After tearing them apart a couple times, lol.
I also think I did far better on the LSAT because of my work experience. PR teaches you to analyze situations and argue a point of view, not just recite "facts." That skill is invaluable on the LSAT, where most of the test is about analyzing arguments.
Then again, I suppose doing PR for smaller companies that just issue product releases and organizational announcements might not be as stimulating. |

You're probably right. I worked for a non-profit with three people in the PR department. They wanted to issue pretty much the same releases year after year. They claimed they wanted to try new things to get more publicity but I believe felt threatened that I would show them up if my ideas worked.
May I ask where you worked or at least if it was a big firm or a company. It seems that you really liked your job. Why did you decide to go to law school?
