Imagine you're a Rhodes or Marshall scholar, just finishing up a masters. You've applied to law school and been accepted everywhere. You have a strong feeling that you'll pursue a career in legal academics. Suppose further that you've narrowed your choices to Yale v. a full ride to Boalt Hall. Is it really worth spending $150,000 to go to Yale?
