Produce one false number.
You are expecting this guy to underestimate his debt.
Playing games with discounting money back to present value hardly negates the fact that this guy will write checks totaling $292,000 to a financial institution. If by some miracle, inflation were flat and the cost of living didn't change. $292,000 in the future would be worth $292,000 in the present.
Just because you foolishly chained yourself to huge debt doesn't mean its good advice. Just look at all of the lawyers that post on this board who chose debt and now regret it.
