Frogdawg, you mentioned that you go to Loyola U chicago and that school is my first choice. i was wondering if you would mind telling me more about the school (i.e. if you like it, how it is viewed in chicago, and so on)? if you'd care to share, please write back in this message board, or e-mail me at skylercruz@hotmail.com. thanks |

sky2099,
Yep, I go to Loyola U. I'm at the tail end of my first year. I love Loyola. I have nothing but great things to say about it. Like the people, like the professors, like the atmosphere. Usually, Loyola folks picked LU over DePaul and Kent. I got into both those schools nad looked closely at them. Kent definitely has a great facility and DePaul has its pluses, too. But ultimately, I didn't care how great a building's architecture was (People always rave about Kent's facility), I wanted the best legal education. In my book, if you're not at Northwestern or U of C in Chicago, there's only one alternative that will still provide great access to the big firms: Loyola. Go to the websites of the big firms in chicago. Look at the bios of the attys. Plenty of Ramblers there. Hard to find Kent, John Marshall, DePaul. Just my sense. Where you go to law school is a really personal choice. What's perfect for me might not be right for you. Fire back if you have more qs. Good luck and hope to see you around Maguire Hall.
