Should you study in the state you want to work in? |

Lots of people have told me that I should study in the state that I want to eventually work in. Does anyone know if this advice has any merit? I've been accepted to Cardozo in NYC and Santa Clara in California. I'm afraid that studying in NYC will make lessen the chance of passing the California bar, as I'd like to end up in California after law school. Also, does anyone have any opinions (positive and negative) on either Santa Clara and/or Cardozo?
