Hrmm.
First, I want to apologize for putting words into your mouth. I hate it when people do that to me; I'm sorry for doing that to you.
I guess I really mis-read meaning in some of your posts. I put together than you advised cantidates to look less at ranking and more at working hard wherever they go.

I do think that working hard wherever you go covers up for a lot of sins. I really don't mind that you used a
stick figure contrast between the top 14 or bust position and the "go where you get in" position. It's just that
you made me a little more extreme member of the latter camp than I actually am.
I believe that you go
to a great law school if you can get into one. Where Bob_d and I have a wide gulf is in what choices you make
if you can't get into a great law school.
