In Reply To: I seem to recall seeing somewhere that UCLA allows students to obtain residency while attending school. Thus, their 1L they pay out of state, but 2L and 3L are in state. Has anyone out there experienced this? Does it hold true at all UC schools?
Message: I just found the rules on Davis' applicant bulliten. For anyone who's curious, Cali schools state that you must show intent to make Calif. your permanent residence - sell off homes in other states, vote, get a drivers license, file taxes, etc. Once you've done so for a year, you magically become a resident (and your tuition drops by 11k or so).
