I've been accepted at ALS for next fall. I went to the open house in early march and was very impressed with their facilities and their level of friendliness and organization. Has anyone else applied or been accepted there? Has anyone heard anything about ALS? Job prospects, etc? Thanks.

I think that Albany, NY is not a booming town for lawyers. And NYC firms have plenty of better local schools to hire from.
Don't let vague things like "friendliness" cause you to make a bad decision. It's very hard to find a job in law, you want to base your law school decision strictly marketability of the degree. And an Albany law degree just isn't very marketable.
But if you want to talk non-job stuff, the winters in upstate NY are cold and cloudy. Expect the temperature never to go above 32, and expect never to see the sun for weeks at a time.
