In Reply To: Yuri: Not too long ago, I was in a very similar position to you. I am graduating in May with a 3.8 from an Ivy. I have good (summer) work experience and impressive extra currics. "All" I needed to get into a top LS was a solid LSAT score. On my first practice test I scored somewhere in the mid 150's (I was too upset to even finish grading the test!!) I chose not to attend a course and instead bought the 10 Real LSAT's from LSAC (though my advice would not change if you were to choose to do so). As lawgirl suggested, I worked, worked, worked, and then worked some more. My best estimate is that I studied 2 hours a day 5 days a week for 3 months. I wound up scoring 173 and have since been accepted to HLS, CLS, and NYU (still waiting on Yale). So, to answer your question, yes, dramatic improvements are certainly possible. Based on your UG studies, you are obviously a bright kid. Now, it comes down to hard work. Work like you've never done before , and you will be fine. (Look at it this way, is 3 months of hard work worth CLS over Fordham for the rest of your life?? ?? and no disrespect meant to Fordham students) Best of luck.
Message: is the kind I wanna be hearing!!! Thanks. I appreciate your sharing it with me.
