i am currently a junior at harvard university with a 3.0 or so (hopefully it will be higher later). I was wondering if Harvard is harder on their own students when it comes to law school. The word from my advisor is that "its a different school, they have their own admissions policy and treat every app the same." I was wondering if schools tend to admit their own applicants more so then outside applicants. If not where should i go to law school? |

It really depends on the school, but probably no school is going to admit that they favor their undergerad students. In terms of where to apply, it really depends on your LSAT score and your prefrences (e.g. city, type of law etc). A 3.0 is low for the top schools but a good LSAT score and maybe some work experiance can really improve your application. If I were you I'd just study like mad for the LSAT for now.
