Do I really need the Gilbert outline first year set, the Emanuel outlines first year set, the legends audio tapes, the flashcards, and Aristotle (learninglaw.com) to get an A in Torts? Any comments on what really makes a difference and what just adds to the budget? |

Don't buy all that stuff.
Choose either Gilbert or Emmanuel, and try to use it
just as a "quick check" on the result of outlining your cases. I always preferred Emanual, but that was in the days when stegosaurus was
served in quarter pounders.
I did think, though, that a good treatise on torts (Prosser in my day, but I'm not sure what people get now) was useful. OTOH, the contracts hornbooks and treatises seemed to me to be so intent on discussing theories of law rather than
things useful on exams that they were not useful for me.
