Everyone claims that getting into law school is all about numbers.
Is this true?

Getting into law school is largely a function of one's LSAT and UGPA. Different schools weight the factors differently. If the numbers between two candidates are similar, then other factors come into play to determine which is admitted, such as recommendations, personal statements, work experience (if any), and so on.
