In Reply To: There are a few schools that are UGPA heavy in relation to other schools. UNC comes to mind. Below is data from LSAC's LSAT/GPA calculator re: your likelihood of admission based solely on LSAT and GPA. Rank is from US News and admit likelihood percents are at 95% confidence intervals. Rank School Admit Chance 1 Yale 0 3 2 Stanford 0 2 3 Harvard 0 1 4 Columbia 29 52 5 New York U 23 46 6 Chicago 69 87 7 Michigan 86 96 Virginia 49 75 9 Boalt 0 3 10 Duke 62 84 Penn 62 83 12 Cornell 33 58 13 Northwestern63 83 14 Georgetown 75 87 15 Texas 23 48 16 UCLA 17 42 23 UNC 28 57 Meat is dead-on about the difference between a 2.8/177 and a 2.9/168. There aren't all that many 177s out there, so only the most selective or UGPA heavy are likely to pass you up.
Message: That was formatted well before it posted. Sorry for the mess.
