Okay - here's the deal, a brief summary of the pertinent info:
BA in History from UC Berkeley - 3.6 according to LSDAS - in my final semester I was ill and wound up leaving two incompletes on my xscript.
172 LSAT.
Finishing an MA from NYU in Near Eastern Studies - have finished all of my coursework except for one class, which is on my xscript as an incomplete, but which is in the process of getting posted as an A. Other than that, nothing but As and A-s on the NYU transcript.
Okay - I just found out that the last incomplete grade will not post until early JANUARY! So what the hell do I do? Complicating things somewhat is the fact that the grade is coming from one of my recommendation writers! Other than this my applications are done and have been submitted - obviously I haven't sent my NYU xscript to LSDAS yet because I wanted the last incomplete to vanish first.
What do I do? Send the xscript as is with a note saying that the work is done and just needs to post? Or wait until January to send off the complete xscript?
Help! Advice, please!!!
Thanks in advance. |

Sorry to answer a question with a question, but here goes. Does LSDAS score
you downward (e.g., award you a zero for it, pulling down your average)for the incomplete? If so, then you have a dilemma. If not, and we are only talking about the lack of the marginal GPA increase that an extra A would provide, then it's a small dilemma.
Are we talking about your
GPA going from 3.6 to 3.5 because the incompletes are counted as "fails", or are we talking merely a 3.6 does not go to a 3.61 because you don't get the incremental advantage of an additional grade?
