In Reply To: of your chances: insanely good. You're golden, dude. :-) You are going to have a hard time finding stats that are so super specific and take into account all of your particulars and spit out even very rough odds. Most of the info out there will just give you an idea of the numbers that get you in the pile of apps that gets scrutinized. You'll make it in the pile everywhere, more or less, with your numbers, at least as far as I can tell. I don't think there's any way to know which of your non-quantifiable credentials will impress or fail-to-impress an admissions officer... this is where luck and the pool of applicants come in. Unless there is something you aren't mentioning or aren't foreseeing - e.g. you were convicted of manslaughter, you can't get a good recommendation, or you write a statement that offends the admssions officers somehow - I can't imagine that you wont go top 5 or 10. Good luck.
Message: I know I'm in the pile at the top 3, I'm just trying to figure out if it's at the top or the bottom, and wondering if the app increase will significantly affect my chances. Because I like to stress:). I'm looking more for old data on acceptances (the '90-'94 range) to see if the numbers were significantly different at the top few schools those years. I guess that would give me a better idea of how hopeful to be. Anybody have any old lsac reports or US News stats?
