I am currently at a second tier school in New York and did well enough to be accpeted to both NYU and Columbia; however, I am extremely concerned about cost on the one hand and I have a strong desire to become a professor on the other hand. I am worried about being able to obtain a clerkship after law school because I need to apply now, but professors from my old school won't write letters of rec for me if I transfer. What do you think?
