I have been out of college for two years and am applying to law school for 2001. I really would like to go to a top 10 but am unsure of my chances for getting in. My LSAT score was 168 but my GPA only 3.3. I graduated in 3 years from a top Ivy if this helps. I know that I am a long shot but would like to know if I am at all competitive and if there is anything I could do during the application process that might help. Thanks. |

First off, 3.3 is not really "low." Secondly, why not go to a law school that suits your needs ?
A top ten school may get you into a big firm, but it certainly will not keep you there.
My brother went to a top 5. I went to a Ca. school that is only Cal. Bar approved (not ABA.)
He makes $80k in New York, and I am making over 100k in L.A.
