Has anybody had any news re 2005 bonus outlook? London office is said to have achieved a respectable net profit margin, so one would expect a good bonus round. Yet there's no news or announcements. Our share price is still nowhere and senior staff are going. London already lost a competition manager, two transfer pricing directors and a consultant. What have they heard we didn't? |

For the junior employees, quarterly bonuses in 2005 were quite respectable. I am not aware of any correlation between bonus amounts and stock price, at least at the junior level. I doubt it would be any different at the senior level.
As for staff leaving, the economic consulting industry has a good deal of senior employee churn. For every senior employee that leaves, I feel we bring on a new senior employee from a different firm within a few months. I certainly don't sense any "brain drain" from LECG across the board. It is a small industry, so employees are poached to and from companies with regularity.
