I learned the hard way KMPG takes no prisoners. While I'm not saying you would mention my name to KPMG, I can't take the chance you might do so inadvertently. I've already had problems with job references from KPMG. I just do not and cannot trust them anymore.

Your experience with KPMG is not unusual. They don't hesitate to make verbal promises of whatever you want to hear during the recruiting process, then later on deny that anything was ever promised. Good luck getting anything in writing from any of the Big 4.
