Chicago???!!!
We did a little "forensic investigating" and found some information--take with a "grain of salt".
Information is "sketchy" now, probably on purpose. We couldnt find much about the "party" at first because we thought it was being "driven" be a group here in NY--its not. There's a "boutique" marketing group in Montvale [Note: of course] that is pushing it. The group is PS&P.
Mark Lindig [Note: remember the name as in "rising star at KPMG"] is supposed to be taking over that group. Don't know why but he hasn't chosen to cut back on spending for them [Note: to be filed later in his career under "what was I thinking"?].
"Party" is early March in NY and it looks like 60-70 staff people may be coming. There's not a partner in the list of names we saw. Still looking into exactly who these people are and why they are aloted so much.
If the "party" has Lindig's "blessing", it's bullet proof--"Project Excellence" be damn. I'm not sure where that marketing budget comes from but it's draining from "some where" in the firm. |

Well they did have their "party" but not the one originally planned.
Info from our source here is to "cut costs" the "party" was moved from New York to New Jersey and some other thngs changed to "pinch some pennies". Out of the days spent they were bussed into New York for only a "few hours". Bummer for them.
What is really "strange"? This group will probably suffer layoffs in the future do to their head guy leaving and Lindig stepping in. May be the "party" is a "farewell gift" from the Firm?
