Hey, sorry about last message, it appears I wasn't very clear. The selling portion of the message was for someone else inside this long thread, just figured I would write it in instead of making repeated posts. The above goes for the work hours as well, it was directed towards people complaining about hours. As for equal oppertunity I agree with you 100%, no matter how much ALL firms not just KPMG claim to be equal employers, lets face it they're not. It may sound bad etc etc but the fact is that the best person for the job doesn't always get hired. I'm sure you know all this stuff anyway. I'm fairly certain you understood what I meant with the HR reps and constraints. I agree they should have been more polite, because lets face it a person will remember the last experience they had with a company, I ran into similar problems when I applied for a job at GE. Life isn't always fair and I think we can all atest to that. I think when people go into the big 4 there is always an elitist view. This is probably the greatest problem facing all these companies, you're probably more then qualified for the job but to them they don't see it that way. Sorry if the other post came off as a personal thing, the other posts weren't meant for you. |

Random 2,
Thank you for this clarification and the detailed explanation.
Since, you echo even the same views on the Equal Opportunity Employer, I guess, I was not the only person, who had these feelings.
All the best for your future endeavours.
