In Reply To: heh, you are a smart one jseeker79 These are the ultimate no work jobs. You don't work, you schedule -- the tax or audit people do the heavy lifitng, the intervieing or the teaching. And this is on top of heavy charge hour requirements (yes, HR people please note -- if you are in CSD, your charge hours are less than your total hours). Otherwise outside consultants. As long as you can s**k up to partners, you do no work. Looks help also
Message: Hey frmerbig4 I don't know what firm you worked for, but being a recruiter does NOT mean that we do not work. My team of 2 successfully recruited over 100 people into the firm last year. We do rely on staff, managers, and partners to meet candidates and conduct 2nd round interviews. Without their assistance, we would not be able to successfully recruit people. But if you asked those individuals who did a large majority of the recruiting - they would undoubtably say the two of us. We don't suck up to anyone! In fact the only time I see partners is during our recruiting events. And they are there to speak with candidates. And yes, I work on emails, presentations, and paperwork on evenings, weekends, and free time. During my "busy season" I barely see my spouse, friends or family. Don't go around spewing your mouth about a subject you HAVE NO IDEA about!
