So rather than sending us a fruit basket between Christmas and New Years that rots since so many of us are away, they had the brilliant idea this year to send us a gift certificate for Omaha steaks. Real nice gift for all of us vegetarians that work for KPMG. Good grief, this place has no clue for gifts. |

KPMG wasn't obligated to give any kind of gift this year, but since they did...
How is an Omaha Steak gift certificate a good idea??? Vegans and vegetarians aside, some people just don't like steak. A gift isn't having to searching through fine print.
I work for PwC, and we didn't get gifts. We did however get three extra vacation days, which was generous and thoughtful. The point is though, sometimes it's better to not give a gift than give one that blatently doesn't consider everyone.
