In Reply To: I'm sure all the KPMG people flock to Deloitte, the hot firm in Italy. I'm impressed with your knowledge of the exact turnover rate. Where did you hear the exact number. I guess at 45%/ year, KPMG will be out of people in a few years.
Message: The figure of 45% was confirmed by internal sources: I know quite a lot of people working there, and, when they left, they asked the human resources people and the IT people (who had to collect their laptops) the turnover rate. The figure was also confirmed by other people who work there and have not left (at least not yet). What country do you live in ? I have to disagree with you about Deloitte: the firm is not doing that well in Italy, and I know people who left Deloitte for KPMG because of this. Ah, salaries in Deloitte and KPMG are almost identical. To give you an idea, a new graduate (no business school) gets around 20'000 euros gross per year, which is less than 1'100 euros net a month, after taxes. Unpaid overtime, of course! I'm curious to see if this post will be censored by Vault, which already removed negative surveys on KPMG!
