YOU ARE WRONG, THE "SETTLEMENT" (actually a deferred prosecution agreement) IS NOT GLOBAL.

and you can read the agreement. the ONLY matters covered are in regards to "FLIP, OPIS, BLIPS, SOS and their variants" and the alleged obstruction of justice in relation to THOSE shelters. those shelters were for high net worth individuals (that's why KPMG lost their comp & benes and private client practice (losing in Feb. actually)
I'm not saying the sky is falling but the corp. shelters are not resolved.
p.s. in my ex-office 5 of 9 partners have left over the last year and a half. |
