It is not even close to a global settlement. It does not cover corporate TAX shelters and does not cover civil liaibility on individual shelters (that deal got bounced around again today).
I am not saying KPMG will tank, but I am saying you are WRONG, WRONG, WRONG.
This is the problem with kpmg HR flaks, you guys are trying so hard to make people believe everything is OK, you ignore the truth. That is more fatal. You people do not understand credibility is crucial.

the settlement DOES cover corporate tax shelters and of course it DOES NOT cover civil liabilites. That's a fact. KPMG like all firms has to deal with its own civil liabilities. I'm sure you know that.
