A week is still a relatively short amount of time, unless this is a very immediate opportunity. I'd suggest waiting at least one more week before following up with a phone call. And if you can dig up any personal contacts at the company, that's always a very good way to get your resume in to the top. |

I appreciate your comments. I wasn't sure if I was being too anxious.
Also, I thought about following up with a reference from my prior mgr (that would directly address my qualifications for this job) instead of a call. Do you think this would be more/less effective?
