Hey, itzayou - if you recommend doing a little lying about previous salary, then why stop there?
Why not put a better title on your resume, and increase your responsibilities by a little bit? Why not exaggerate your accomplishments and maybe include an MBA?
See what I mean? It's a slippery road you're advocating, and if you're applying for a half-way decent job, YES, you bet Bubba, they're gonna call your current/previous employer and verify the salary you claimed.
Are you sure you still want to advise people to set themselves up for a fall?
Have you done that? Did you get away with it? For what kind of job? Are you still there? Wanna tell us what industry? Oh. Well, why not?
If HR is too lazy or too busy to check up on you?
Do you get your ideas from movies?

Hey you spineless twerp, why do you need 2 screen names? One to pitch your trash and the other to criticize people?? GET A LIFE... you don't like the opinion .. thats fine I could care less at least I'm throwing out an unbiased opinion which you don't seem capable of doing.
