After graduating from a top liberal arts school I spent a couple of years in tech marketing and public relations while I was trying to figure what I wanted to do. Recently, I took a position as bizdev for a small marketing firm thinking it would be a good chance to show leadership for B-school. It's not what I'd hoped and I would like to break into i-banking but I'm not sure my coursework or job exp. is an ideal fit. Short of getting an MBA now, what can I do? |

You can continue the hunt, but frankly, given the way you jump around this early in your career, I doubt many would look to you as an ideal IB candidate. More power to you if you actually get thru and get hired. Sorry.
