I only use these job boards to get information on available jobs and companies that are hiring. You have to lay your entire life out for god-knows-who to see when you post your resume - plus it doesn't do any good. You have to go straight to the company you want to work for. You have an extreme handicap if you are in Europe and want to work in the U.S. They are not going to fly you across the Atlantic for an interview. There are plenty of available candidates under their noses right now - unless you're a big ace at a very high level. |

I know a lot of expats who made it over here, but none had any luck with posting resume from overseas.
Firms are not going to go out of their way for you when they have hundreds of local candidates to choose from.
