Was India's post "What a Waste of Time". If that's the post in question, there's not much India can do. Some HR people lie to ease the rejection process (although continuing to post the opening every week on Monster doesn't make the line believable. Its sort of like a girl rejecting you by saying its not you, its me.) andd some companies have since ceased funding a position. Sometimes an opening is contigent on the company generating a certain amount of new revenue. |

I was hoping you could give her some expert advice about finding a job in the industry, rather than addressing her immediate problem with HR. I just bumped her thread back up (it should be #4 now, but that could change quickly). I'm sure that a dose of your expertise could be a big help to her.
