Topic Name: Why does it seem that recruiters are all talk no action?
Message Name: Isn't that the truth!!

Message: I attended a University job fair earlier this year and one recruiter stood out in particular...as students were waiting in line to talk to him about possible positions with this well-known company, he had his head down, not making any eye contact [signs of complete apathy and disrespect as far as I'm concerned], and was stuffing bags full of cheap crap to give away! Everyone waiting in line got one! Someone I met at a recent technical conference gave me a good piece of advice...and that is to remember that recruiters are nothing more than salesman...they can very rarely deliver what they promise. The fact that we have to realize is that we are in an employer's market and until the economy picks up again, recruiters can get away this kind of behavior.
