Can any one offer some resources? I've been out of school for a year, I have a Bachelor's. I'm computer literate, reliable, dependable but I don't have experience. All I've been able to find is a job in retail. Retail! Somebody p lease help me find someplace to start, someplace to find companies willing to give someone a shot. |

I have been thinking I am such a loser. But now I see loads of people in same boat. I graduated with MBA in 2000 and still have nothing. I know loads of software applications. I have 10 years of operations experience behind me, but it looks that people dont like strange countries on my resume. Now I am doing a certificate in Information Architecture, still nothing.
However, I have managed to temp all this time. I stay in touch with all tempagents in my area. I tried company sites, job boards, recruiters, job fairs, companies open houses, networked a lot and a lot more. all I got was we need experience in our industry, or over-qualified or blah blah.
Yet, coming to work where people have not even been to college, kills me eveyday. I work at accounts receivables/billing dept of a huge company. I cant have a decent conversation at work beacuse of differeing interests. I have kind of given up until market picks up agian. I'm frustrated. Not really an advice to you, but thought you would like to know that you have company.
