In Reply To: I refused a job offer someplace I REALLY want to work because the money was too low. It was 6K less then my minimum. I had 24 hrs to decide and it was a very hard decision to come to but because I have a family I felt I had to push for more $$$. I am now REALLY regretting it. Would it be proper to call them back and say I had a change of heart, or that my situation has changed and can now accept their offer? Or is all hope gone? SOME ADVICE PLEASE?????
Message: Seriously, you have nothing to lose apart from maybe having to swallow a bit of pride. If they say no, then all it costs you is a phone call, but you have the chance of being reconsidered. I passed on an offer to take what I though was a better position. After 2 weeks I found it was the wrong offer, so I went back to the other company, and reinterviewed, and got the job. Like I said, all it costs you is a phone call.
