Going through college, I worked full-time, thus decreasing time available to study. Therefore, I have a lower GPA than people around me that have all their time to study. Will employers consider this and let me get my foot in the door despite this? |

Your GPA may be lower, but you will have more work experience than a lot of your classmates who will have a rather empty resume.
Remember that any job you are doing will have transferable skills that an employer will look for.
In most situations the GPA is a fall back for applicants who need something to quantify their worth, and HR people who can't find another way to break down a pool of applicants who don't have much experience.
If you are looking at Grad School in a few years, this is when the GPA may come back to get you, but worry about that later.
