Networking is the way to learn about an industry and to find job leads. If you find a company that you are interested in contacting via the web, can you send the person an email rather than the tradional snail-mail networking letter? What do you put as your subject so that they don't see an unrecognized sender and think its junk mail? How long do you wait to follow up? I'd appreciate any tips or advice on internet networking- thanks.
