Legal Implications? |

I have received an offer from a company in NC; they have given me only a few days to accept in writing. While I liked the company and the people, they offered the same salary as current. (That makes the decision a lot harder.)
I have interviews with two other cos. on Friday and Monday, both of which have separate and distinct advantages (product lines, job responsibilities, location). Both companies are aware that I have an offer currently in waiting.
I am still deciding on accepting the 1st offer. If I go ahead an accept, in writing, then am offered one of the other positions and decide it is better for me, what are the legal implications (if any) of this action?
If I accept another offer before I start work at the 1st company, may I be sued or have other complications? Similarly, if I accept another offer after I start with the 1st company, and I manage to return any bonuses are allowances paid to me, do I have anything else to worry about?
Thanks
