I'm in the process of changing jobs, but I've been thoroughly dissapointed by the usual resources, especially working "with" recruiters/headhunters.
I've been thinking about my ideal job hunting resource.
Everybody knows that networking is probably the best way to get you in the door and a good position.
However, I'm relatively new to to the area I'm looking for jobs and I do not have the network of professionals that I can tap into and my current job has me working 14 hour days far away from home.
For people like me, an ideal resource would be a virtual networking community where people like me would share information about who's hiring, who to contact, etc.
I think vault.com had an idea a little bit like this, but it hasn't been realised, at all.
Anybody know any sites or mailing lists like this?
Or any other good resources (other than the usual suspectes, that is) to help in job hunting?
