Has anyone used a Resume Writer? A fellow co worker had suggested it and said it worked for him. Who Did you use, vault, resumewriter.com or Careerbuilder? |

Resume Writers are great, if they know your industry, the type of position you are targeting and understand the level of experience you are at. If they dont know your market stay away! I have seen resumes from resume writers and although, the resumes looked pretty the resume didn't have the gusto that a resume needs to land an interview.
A candidate of mine paid over $300.00 for a pretty resume that that he couldn't use. Also, they saved his resume as a .pdf file and he couldn't modify it unless he used their services (again).
My name is Jennifer and I'm a veteran recruiter who went non-profit. I assist laid-off blue and white collar workers find employment. I also instruct resume writing seminars and before you spend your money and if you want to email your resume for a quick critique on its content and format I would be glad to do so.
