Basically, the situation resolved itself. I confronted the employee and he apologized profusely. I did tell him that if it happened again we would have to terminate him. He agreed to attend a sensativity seminar that included a section on sexual harassment. He agreed that if another person complains he would have to resign. He signed the agreement. What do you think? |

Eager to please and show his newfound sensitivity, I think your man foolishly signed the agreement. Now, anyone can terminate him over just the slightest hint of misbehaviour. If you are as humane and fair as you sound, you'll work with this person and help him remove that noose he has unwittingly placed around his own neck.
